Comet and Earth

The Capital Area Astronomy Association is a group of amateur hobbyists in the Lansing area who enjoy getting together to share an interest in astronomy. Experience levels range from beginning novices to experienced veterans.

The club meets at 7:30 pm at Abrams Planetarium, generally on the first Wednesday of each month. A current sky review, using the Digistar projector, precedes the formal meeting at 7:00 pm. Meetings last about an hour and consist of presentations by members or invited speakers on astronomical topics of interest to the membership. Visitors are always welcome.

Annual dues are $25, which includes all club activities, a monthly meetings notice, the Sky Calendar, the quarterly publication of the Astronomical League, The Reflector, and discount subscriptions to Astronomy, and Sky & Telescope magazines.
