Variable Stars Meeting 2007

 

Michigan State University will host a meeting on variable stars on March 31, 2007.  This continues a series of informal meetings on this topic aimed at fostering communications among researchers in the Michigan-Ohio-Indiana area. 

 

Time:  Starting at 1pm on Saturday March 31, 2007

 

Place: Room 1400 in the Biomedical and Physical Sciences Building on the MSU campus.  A map showing the campus and the location of the Biomedical and Physical Sciences Building can be found here:

Parking is available either west of Abrams Planetarium or in the parking ramp on Shaw Lane, located east of Abrams Planetarium.  Parking is free on Saturday.

 

Presentations: Oral presentations are welcome on any topic related to variable stars.  It is hoped to have 20 minutes available for each presentation, 15 minutes for the presentation itself with some time for questions.  An overhead projector and a projector for powerpoint presentations will be available.
