The associated MPEG movie shows how a C60 buckyball molecule interacts with a (10,10) nanotube near a large defect. The 30 Angstrom long segment of a (10,10) carbon nanotube, with a diameter of 1.4 nanometers, contains a large vacancy that is large enough to absorb the buckyball. The simulation has been performed by Savas Berber.
