LON-CAPA/Homework Information
- Homework assignments are administered with the LON-CAPA system.
Assignments are unique to each stuent.
- To view and answer problems, students should dial into:

- Homework for each week is due on Saturday
at 5:00 PM.
There will be no extensions for homework assignments.
- Each homework problem is worth one point if answered correctly.
The system allows for up to 20 tries for each problem.
- Homework bonus points:
10% for getting the correct answer on the first try,
5% for the 2nd or 3rd try.
The bonuses can boost homework grade above the full 25% (of the total
grade).
Help Room
Assistance on homework is offered in the Help Room, BPS Building, Room
1248. TAs and tutors will staff the room at the times below. The help-room
staff will encourage an environment of cooperative learning. Questions
on
lectures as well as quiz and exam problems are also encouraged. It is equipped
with many computers to work on LON-CAPA problems. An email address will
also be
manned for specific hours.
