B1.08 Off Loaded Box

A disk is weighted so that its center of mass is "off center". It is thrown through the air and its flight path is analyzed via a video playback. Though its flight appears wobbily, its center of mass is seen to follow a smooth parabola. In the animation below, the center of mass has been highlighted with a white dot and the path of the center of mass is traced out.
