The Lansing Lugnuts are the local baseball team. Their only home game during the workshop is on Friday night at 7pm.
There are two golf courses on campus. We have reserved a few tee-times for Wednesday afternoon. The tee times are for 18 holes at 2:28pm and 2:40pm and for 9 holes at 3:00pm and at 3:10pm. Please contact Joel Piper or Jorge Benitez if you would like to reserve one of these.
Many tennis courts are available on campus for those who bring equipment.
You can rent bicycles or canoes on campus.
Kresge Art Museum houses Michigan State University's collection of over 7,000 works of art.
The Lansing River Trail is a good place to enjoy a walk around the city of Lansing. It passes the local zoo and hands-on museum.
A local brewpub, Harpers, has half-off all food and drinks every Wednesday.
There is a free concert at Frances Park Wednesday evening from 7-9.
Lake Lansing Park offers swimming, sand volleyball courts, boat rentals, and picnic areas a short drive from campus.
