Drivers can exit the interstate highway system and be on campus in fewer than five minutes. The Amtrak train station is on the west edge of campus. Greyhound bus also has service to and from East Lansing. The city of Lansing is also home to the Capital City Airport (LAN) . The Michigan Flyer motor coach service also offers daily departures to and from Detroit Metro Airport (DTW). Driving Directions from Lansing Capital City Airport (LAN)Leaving the airport, turn left onto Grand River Avenue. Proceed east to the intersection of Grand River Avenue and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. Turn right (south) onto Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. Continue to the intersection of Saginaw Street (one way, traveling east). Turn left (east) onto Saginaw Street. Proceed east on Saginaw Street. At the Frandor Shopping Center, follow the right lanes merging onto Grand River Avenue. Proceed east on Grand River Avenue. Turn right (south) onto Harrison Road. Proceed south on Harrison Road to Shaw Lane. Turn left (east) onto West Shaw Lane. Go straight through Red Cedar Road and Farm Lane. Immediately after Farm Lane on the left is the visitor parking lot, on the right is the Biomed Phys Sci and Chemistry Buildings on Science Road. Driving Directions from Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW)Leaving the airport take I-94 west toward Chicago. Proceed for three miles and take Exit 194 onto I-275 north toward Flint. After 13 miles merge onto I-96 west (exit on the left) toward Lansing. Proceed for 65 miles. Take Exit 106B onto I-496 west/US-127 north toward downtown Lansing. Proceed for three miles and take Exit 9 onto Trowbridge Road. Follow Trowbridge Road east and continue on Public Safety. At Traffic Circle, take the 2nd exit onto Red Cedar Road. Turn right (east) onto South Shaw Lane. After passing through Fame Lane, on the left is the visitor parking lot, on the right is the Biomed Phys Sci and Chemistry Buildings on Science Road.
