Norma, the level:

Another constellation created between 1750-1754 by the French astronomer Nicolas Louis de La Caille. The original name of the constellation was Norma et Regula, the level and square. It has also been known as Quadra Euclidis, Euclids square. Norma is a small faint constellation located east of Lupus, the wolf and south of Scorpius. Because of its location it is not visible to residents of the northern parts of the United States.
