Lochium Funis, the log and line:
A minor constellation created by German astronomer Johann Ehlert
Bode from stars found near the great ship, Argo Navis. Lochium Funis
is comprised of stars that the French astronomer Nicolas Louis de
La Caille had used to form the constellation of Pyxis, the compass.
Bode was the only astronomer to draw Lochium Funis, and it was never
recognized by others.
