Phoenicopterus, the flamingo:
This is another name for the constellation of Grus, the crane.
Grus was created in 1603 by Johann Bayer and is visible south of
Piscis Austrinus, the southern fish. Because of its location the
constellation is not easily observed by those living in the northern
half of the United States. The origin of the constellation of Phoenicopterus
is uncertain but probably began in England in the early seventeenth
century. Today the constellation is universally recognized as Grus.
