The Cheerful Chubster
 One of Alex's new favorites: the big plastic turkey platter. She seems eternally thrilled and amazed that she can exercise her will over something bigger (though much less massive...) than she is!
[ Download 19 kB jpg file] Alexandra stands whenever possible, and at this time, shortly after Christmas, began to regularly walk around while hanging onto people and things. For speed and accuracy, her newfound crawling skill serves as a primary means of transportation: slap! slap! slap! (her crawling style involves vigorous and loud use of the hands).
Solo walking started around the end of the first week of March 1997.


In Alexandra's Room

[ Download 22 kB jpg file] On the other hand, Alex likes to show off that she understands the concept of IN. We can tell her to put things back into the wastepaper basket, and she often does. No bets on how long that'll last!
