Instructions for Using CAPA
PHY183, Fall 2003, Section 2
CAPA is a
"Computer-Assisted
Personalized
Approach
for assignments, quizzes and examinations."
The system was developed at MSU and is used at over 50 colleges
and universities in the US and abroad.
It is recommended that
you answer the questions and work the problems before you 'login' to the
computer. Discussion of concepts and methods of solving problems
with fellow students is also strongly encouraged.
Each assignment sheet has your Name and also a specific CAPA
ID
number. You should enter solutions through the web.

To use the web version of CAPA, point your browser to the URL:
http://capa4.lite.msu.edu/class.html

From the pull-down menu, choose phy183-002

Enter your student number and CAPA ID in the designated fields.

Click on the appropriate 'here' button to go to the main menu.

Choose 'Try Current Set'. Your assignment will then be displayed.

Follow the instructions before you, and remember to "Submit All Answers"
before you exit.
