As part of the PHY913 lecture requirements, to demonstrate familiarity with the topic and ability to communicate concepts across discipline boundaries, each student in the course is expected to participate in the Highlights in Nanotechnology project, by contacting at least five key researchers in Nanotechnology and acquiring a link to their open-access publications. Those, who have contacted 10 corresponding authors and failed to acquire a link to an open-access publication may post a non-trivial comment on posted topics instead. Two comments count as much as one new posting of an open-access resource. The deadline for posting to be counted towards the course grade is Monday, October 10, 2011.
