Science Theatre is an organization run by student volunteers at Michigan State University that go out into the community to teach children and adults alike about the wonders of science.

To request a Science Theatre performance at your school, institution, or event, please contact us at sciencet@pa.msu.edu with the subject title "Science Theatre Performance Request". Appearances are made free of charge and can be customized in length and content to fit your needs. Performances are made by student volunteers well-trained in safety and the demonstrations they will present.

The Science Theatre office is located in the lower level of MSU's Abrams Planetarium. For any information or to join Science Theatre, please contact us by email.

30 April 2009 Science Theatre received the 2009 Outreach Award from the MSU Department of Physics and Astronomy! This award honors everyone who has participated in Science Theatre performances this past year.
16 April 2009 Science Theatre's first annual Honorable Member Awards were announced this evening during out general body meeting in recognition of outstanding contribution to our organizations efforts to promote interest and education in science throughout Michigan. Many Science Theatre members were considered for the award, all of whom volunteered a trememdous amount of their time during the 2008-2009 academic year and demonstrated exceptional ability as peformers. Congratulations to the recipients: Amanda Gretka, Jingming Chen, and Rick Pocklington!

6 February 2009 Following performances at Kinawa Middle School in Okemos, MI on January 8th and 22nd, Science Theatre is recognized in Kinawa's February 2009 newsletter.
