We are planning several events: Dinners where the guests
can interact with astronomers at remote sites, auctioning off a night's
(supervised) observing at the MSU Observatory, (or public presentations
of our "powerpoint" show for organizations like the Lions). So if you want to
stay in touch, send us twenty bucks (check or fill out the email form at the
end of this page)
and we will send you:
- 1. The SKY CALENDAR (quarterly) from the
MSU Abram's Planetarium - so you
can keep in touch with the latest events in the heavens (Comets,
Meteor Showers, Planet Motions as well as Constellations).
You can get this cheaper by going directly to Abram's but THEN you
won't get the rest of the goodies below:
- 2. A monthly email update of our technical progress on telescope
design and construction. (You can get THIS by clicking on our WEB SITE
and following the links
To the Newsletter for Feb'97,
WITH IMAGES
- but that won't be as personal.)
- 3. Occasional invites to dinners, trips to observe,
and other fundraising activities (which we hope will be FUN and well as
raise FUNDS).
If you would like to keep in touch with our progress
Mail your contribution, with a note asking to be put on our list and
an email address, to:
