Would you like to see a couple of nuclei collide? Here are some Quicktime movies you might want to look at. (We also have larger formats with more text available.) These were made for the APS Centennial meeting in Atlanta and show heavy ion collisions at intermediate (BUU.mov, compressed 2.7 MB) and high (SPS.mov, compressed 7.8 MB) energies.
