Alexandra C. Ferguson's
Christmas 1996 Photo Page, Part I
Christmas Morning at Grandma Sally's
- Alex and her daddy, playing with the wrapping paper and bows.
- On Christmas 1996, Alex was about eight and a half months old.
You may have noticed that Alex likes having her picture taken (we don't know why, when she has no idea what's really going on when we do it...)
Here, Alex plays with her new toys, assisted by her Mommy and her Uncle Carl, who drove up to Toledo from Texas for Christmas with the family. Alex took to Uncle Carl almost right away, somewhat surprisingly, as she'd been a bit leery of strangers for a few weeks before that time.
Alexandra on the move!
(Christmas Day was actually the first time she intentionally crawled from place to place, as opposed to just scooting herself around; she had been crawling in her sleep for a couple of weeks before that)
Christmas Afternoon at Grandpa's
Grandpa welcomes Alexandra to his place. She seemed to think that it was all great fun.
Here we are (clockwise from bottom): Alexandra, Grandpa, Daddy & Mommy.
Isn't wrapping paper fun ? It's one of Alexandra's favorite parts of Christmas, as you can see.
Alex "likes" newspapers and magazines in a similar fashion...
Back home again after Christmas
Being a baby is sometimes very tiring work, and one just runs out of energy without warning.

Suppertime, suppertime, sup-sup-suppertime...
