SCIENCE THEATRE PRESENTATIONS

Science Theatre has built its reputation primarily upon two types of events: the stage show, and the hands-on workshop. While hands-on workshops are pedagogically most effective for smaller groups of people, stage shows have been found to be the most effective way for Science Theatre to reach larger audiences. Science Theatre plans each event in conjunction with the hosting party, and both stage shows and hands-on workshops can be mixed and matched to provide the most effective and most educational experience for a particular group.

When planning a stage show or a hands-on workshop, Science Theatre reserves the right to make a judgement as to what demonstrations are appropriate or inappropriate for a given audience. The most important judgement call that we can make is with regard to safety. Science Theatre will NOT perform a demonstration if the ST staff at the event deems it as inappropriate for the age level, unsafe in a particular situation, or having even the slightest potential to cause harm to any member of the audience.
