Assignment #2

This assignment will help you to start writing and publishing web pages. Design a simple web page containing instructions on how to use the Gauss server.

Your page must include the following information:

1. How to log on to the system from the terminal
2. Basic use of the Unix operating system
3. Basic use of the vi editor

While writing your web page, keep the following things in mind:

1. The topical definition should be on top of the page
2. The page should contain useful information
3. The page should look good
4. Quality of writing
5. Layout/structure of the information
6. Links
7. Completness of information
8. Graphics
9. Absence of distractions
