The MSU Department of Physics & Astronomy and many of its sub-units and affiliated research groups periodically host Conferences and Workshops. This is an access point for the information.
18-22 July 2016: 2016 International Collaborations in Nuclear Theory (ICNT) Program “Deuteron-induced reactions and beyond: Inclusive breakup fragment cross sections”. This is a one-week program which takes place at the NSCL/FRIB.
31 May – 17 June 2016: 2016 International Collaborations in Nuclear Theory (ICNT) Program “The r-process nucleosynthesis: connecting FRIB with the cosmos”. This is a three-week program which takes place at the NSCL/FRIB. The outcome of the program will be a white paper discussing promising r-process experiments, their likely impact, and their astrophysical, astronomical, and nuclear theory context.
10-14 August 2015: International Phosphorene Symposium 2015 in the MSU Biomedical & Physical Sciences Building (mainly in room 1400).
