Title: Zero resistance state and self-organized motion of electrons on liquid He

When an electron attaches to a free surface of liquid helium from outside, its vertical motion is quantized to form a set of surface subbands, where the electron remains quite free to move in the plane parallel to the surface. By exciting the intersubband transition by irradiating resonating microwave in a 100GHz range under perpendicular magnetic fields, electrons on He show a zero resistance state. Simultaneously, an internal electron motion is invoked. The motion is a self-organized oscillation associated with a static inhomogeneous charge redistribution. In this talk, recent progress to understand the state will be described.
