Universal extra dimensions (or deconstructed versions thereof) predict a plethora of new particles (called Kaluza-Klein excitations) that are possibly accessible at collider such as the LHC. However, the production and decay of these particles is very sensitive to the impact of radiative corrections. Here we describe two aspects of such corrections: On one hand, NLO QCD corrections for the pair production of Kaluza-Klein gluons is essential for reducing the large uncertainty from the QCD scale choice. On the other, loop-induced operators lead to corrections to the mass spectrum and to new interactions of the Kaluza-Klein particles, several of which have not been computed so far.
